who was it that was telling me i was stupid for running 6 lbs on a single cam ??

i forgot your name but you blew up your greddy at 5.5 psi .. but how you were at that i dont know because you said you had no guages... so i HIGHLY doubt you had any sort of fuel management even . let alone preceeded to ensure the proper parts were exchanged in accordance with the amount of boost you planned on running .

i just drove over 5500 miles on a brand new turbo with a single core radiator through death valley, new mexico , arizona, texas, and even sat in rush hour traffic in Vegas at 2 in the afternoon

sorry i just found it funny you were trying to tell me how to build an engine when you dont even put guages on your own build and blow it up at a supposable 5.5 lbs . ill be turning up the boost in the near future. thanks for trying to show off in front of your friends.

Thats pretty amazing. My single core radiator couldn't control itself on the hills with my GS-R motor. It got so damn hot and I was very nervous. I am glad you made it out and I want to echo the words of our other planners about being busy and not being able to fully check out your car. ....Vegas is always like that for me though. I wish it could be longer.

blah.... i got video of me and my friend running 14 pounds on my friends stock single cam on the freeway.... OMG it was fast. (it did lift the head on the second day of doing it however.)but its not the pressure its the tune. a lousy tune at 4 psi is just as dangerous as a great tune at 16 psi. guess which ones faster though. people give me crap for running my stock bottom end zc at 12 psi, but its been that way for 4 months and 2 oil changes, so it apperanly is good. glad to here you put miles on the turbo. I realy loved your setup, especialy that intake.

have you thought about bigger injectors?

and for those that got a chance to check out the car , this is how i bought it not long ago --

i put very little money into getting it road worthy and used alot of parts i had laying around from my other sol . it was going to go to the junk yard but i saved it i had it running with a fresh Z6 within a few hours of owning it. changed out the brakes , steering column , steering rack, door locks , trunk lock (which i have to do AGAIN! thanks to theives at the orleans), and put a trunk release in from my 95 (glad i did so i can get in the trunk still!). the front end was hit decently and sits about 1/4 low of where it should . it has alot of rust , and has the worlds crappiest paint job .. but i dont care about being pretty . she runs strong and was cheap , and i got to save her

That's really sad news that they messed up your trunk.

Car security is on the minds of the planners for next year. We're not tied to the Orleans, so there will probably be a change in hotels.
