Hey guys. We need new banners and flyers for Vegas Invasion VII. I have left last year's on VegasInvasion.com still for reference.

Please post any you create here.

Banner & Flyer Criteria:
- Must include the dates
- Must include either term: "Vegas Invasion VII" OR "VIVII" although the 1st is a probably preferred
- Must have both Vegas AND Sol flare to it
- Must have website listed OR "Team Sol" listed

Flyers Only:
- Should print nicely
- Make one in color and B&W

Banners Only:
- Should be able to fit nicely on message boards, etc.

I kinda like the understated, cuz its a lil different than anything Ive seen previously, but the downside is that it doesnt show or make mention of a del Sol, so...ya! Thas jus what Ive come up with tonight, if I have an epiphany or something, I will make whatever comes to mind!

Just a little suggestion... Scoot the Sol over just a wee bit so as not to cover so much of the sign verbage. Seem to be plenty of room for that.
I envy you guys with the Photoshop talent.

Oh yeah, Try testing it as an outline view (I think) too. Cuz' that is what gets used for the shirts. See how your ideas look that way.

I agree with Tom. Move the Sol over a bit to show the whole sign. Also, maybe move the dates up a bit and under include "Team Sol" and/or vegasinvasion.com in the same color, font, centered under the dates but a smaller font. Does that make any sense?

Something like this? And Dad2Bike (Tom, right?) Im not 100% sure what you mean by outline. Do you mean like the Samba Sol on last year's flyer? Or do you mean like a silhouette? Feel free to throw as many ideas at me as you would like, Im jus sittin around at school with lots of time, a lil photoshop know-how, and I wanna help out with VIVII

Looks good. I am probably just nit-picking...but what about decreasing the font size of "TEAM SOL" and "VEGASINVASION.COM" so that side by side (in their single row) they will be no bigger than the date's width?

Not nit-picking! You are the boss here, man, and you are supposed to tweak my ideas until they fit what YOU want!

That sounds like it would really look good.

When this is used for making T-shirts it is only with a single color. Soonly pertenant info is printed. Look at what was done for last years shirts. That is what I was referring to. And yes it is Tom.

Oh, I was under the impression that different things were decided and voted upon for t shirts, banners and flyers...so I was jus workin on a banner? I was plannin on submitting a different design for the t shirts, since I dont really see how this could be converted, but ill do what I can!

its lookin sharp jake, i would just straighten try to get rid of the shadows from the "welcome" neon, maybe lighten up the "teamsol" lettering

I was debating between tryin to fix that or not...im afraid that I may detract from the realism in an attempt to achieve idealism, but ill give it a go.
