Post my Red 94 Si- JRSC b16b- New Pics 3/13/2010
This is my 1994 del sol, it started out as an Si, and doen't even resemble that origional car at all now. The older pics in each section are first, then where it is now is towards the bottom. I bought it in early 2005 and it's been my daily driver ever since.

first pics I took of my sol, all that was done to it at this point was rims and some cheap coilovers Aug-Nov, 2005

They are Enkei RS-6's on Tsumitomo tires. They cost me $1100. I can't wait to get rid of them... My wife curbed them doing 25mph around a turn 2 weeks after I got them. :banghead)

It doesn't look bad at all...

It looks almost like mine, with the rims and all. My black piece along the back window was just like yours - I took mine off, chipped off the rest of the black stuff, then painted it semi-gloss black.

The whole rear part of my car is milano pink...

My trunk lid and rear panels are really faded too. Is this fading only a problem with the red Sols? Most of the other colored Sols that I have seen are not faded like this.

some of the others do it a bit, but the milano red ones are certainly the worst

And it always happens to the plastic pieces first.

i found that a good orbital buffer and some automotive polish (or rubbing compound if you're careful) and some good cleaner wax will remove a lot of the oxidation on milano hondas. When I bought my sol, it had some serious oxidations and pink spots. But after a good polish it is looking much better. I posted some pics of my 94 just a few days ago.

Thanks. I'm trying to get it better, but every time I start to get somewhere with it something happens. On Halloween someone dented/scratched my hood and doors, broke my windshield and slashed 2 tires. I just got all that fixed...slowed the process down a lot.

How horribe... Guess you didn't hand out candy? It's gotta take some really drunk idiots to do that though.

They did it between 3 and 8 am, and hit 3 cars in my neighborhood that were parked on or near the main street. I don't get why people have to mess up someone they don't know's car just because they are drunk idiots.

I'll be installing new bushings this week, it should greatly increase the handling/ride of my car. Hopefully it's not raining and I can get the thing washed and take some current pics.
