So this del Sol was picked up by me in April. I rescued it from someone who loved it, but maybe too much.
It had a lot of damage to the passenger door and the passenger qtr. panel was DESTROYED!!!

I bought it and immediately took it to the body shop at my college. I was in there every day, waiting, waiting, and waiting. 8 weeks went by 8 frickin weeks!!!

Finally I got it home and the idle was way off. It fluctuated so bad. Oh and did I mention I had never started the car when I bought it? I towed it from the guys house to my shop, replaced the clutch real quick, then took it to the body shop. So here I am at home, trying to figure out why it won't idle right. Took off the old IACV and put on a brand new one. Cranked the engine again, and here we go ........
nope, sounds like a ricer revving still. muuuu WAHHHH muuuu WAHHHH
Oh, wait I remember, it's the FITV. Take it out, clean, reinstall. Start engine, fingers crossed, YAY!!!!

So here is where I sit now.
Ricey del Sol that the wifey has named Orca. I am waiting on my orders to go home to get the Mugen rep bumper from LOKI (please tell me we are still good with that)

So there he is. Orca. But the color is changing to gloss gray, exhaust is getting dumped for something less uhmmmmm , Have a surprise for the engine, look for something faster than most have seen in person. And 30psi for the track. But here I am talking........rambling, just lemme know what you think.

Found my engine again, last one was from the wrong car. Found out when it got shipped here. Always nice to have a nice big crate delivered, crack it open and realize the engine is completely wrong. GRRRR

So, now I work on getting the right turbo manifold, fuel and brake lines, interior parts, disc conversion and a couple other pieces. My check should be here soon from the gov't. Love how they take forever. hurry up and wait!!!!!!
