 What's on your shelf?
So, who's collecting what these days? Star Wars? Marvel? McFarlane?
I'm being pretty selective, myself.. occasional Justice League, Star Wars Classic and EIII, and whatever grabs my interest. The new Marvel super-articulated 4" figs look cool. I picked up a 6" Fantastic Four Sue Storm for the shelf o' chicks.
Anyone picking anything up?

On my shelf.... only one thing... R/C Helicopter.
Used to have 1:18 model cars but it's pain to keep it away from dust. All packed up and took it to storage.

Toy robots.
Everything from models of industrial 6-axis arms (ABB) to Rock-em-Sock-em.
Not a single transformer. No. And Gundam can bite me.
I prefer the early stuff- classics like Gort, B-9, Robbie, etc.
Someday I'll get a Bender, but mainly the collection is so people can give me something for Christmas if they can't figure out anything else.
And it gives people something fun to play with when they visit the office of the Robotics Engineer.
Sometimes I let my Hasbro R-2 out to wander the cubes.
Yes, I have a Roomba.

I just got the 1/18th scale model of "Christine" the 58 Plymouth Fury. She is now in a place of honor in my den, on top of the tv. *drool*

Sweet! That was one of the first films I worked on, while I was in High School. We blew up a gas station in Valencia...
Good Times...

That's Candroid.
You can get him in a lot of different places now, but I got him from http://www.thinkgeek.com/index.shtml
I just bought a couple more to give away as gifts.
Last week I was thinking about how easy it would be to 'scale him up' to an 8-foot size. Kinda heavy, but do-able.

I did the Starwars thing for a while, and have about 6 huge boxes filled with about $3000 worth of figures and such. (I'd love to sell it though to feed my all time favorite hobby:
Somewhere over 50 different odds and ends around the house now, but I have my eyes set on a new piece and need to start selling the old to fund the new... Hey, anyone want an instant collection of starwars stuff? $1,500 buys you more than you can take home in one trip.

 Re: What's on your shelf?
I have quite the menagerie of Marvin the Martian toys and trinkets.
A pretty nice bundle of CART racing gear and memorabilia mostly Jimmy Vasser related.
Every Journey album up to Raised on Radio.
An immense scrapbook lovingly made in 92-93 of Skid Row crap.
Damn near every ticket stub to the hundreds of concerts I've been to in the last 25 years
a trunk of shirts that don't fit from said concerts
Errrrr.... And last and the most ridiculous would be the insane collection of John Fluevog shoes that take up EVERY bit of shelf space in my decently sized walk in closet.
I have just recently started grabbing a few Optimus Prime things here and there which is late in coming since I've had a crush on him since I was 17.

 Re: What's on your shelf?
Umm, from the net: It's pretty big. A good size for kids...except the little plastic accessories. It's plastic not metal. Here is a 20 for scale.
